Waffle Weekender – our daytime launch event

To celebrate our daytime café launch and inspired by the original Würstlin family waffle iron (featured) we invite you to join us for our Waffle Only Celebration Weekend.

Each year Lucy’s Dad, Fritz B Würstlin, would have his waffle stall at the school fete and would use his old family waffle iron to churn out hundreds of ridiculously delicious fluffy waffles.  The most popular topping was his secret recipe Kirschwasser soaked blackforest fruits with whipped cream.

We thought a great way of introducing you to the Hathersage Social Club café was to have a Waffle Only launch weekend.  Join us for waffles, coffee, tea and games (hopefully in the garden) and have a nosey around to find out what we’re up to.
