TM's Café Club Social

TM (our club monkey pictured) has decided that throughout summer we should make the most of the summer daytime menu and the lovely club garden. So on Thursday’s we’ll be open from for early evening supper from 6pm – 10pm (last orders in the kitchen 8pm/last pudding orders 8.30pm).

Come for after work nibbles and drinks or come for an early supper.  Apart from the occasional private Thursday do, this is a regular Thursday night Summer feature.  Check the calendar, or give us a ring to make sure TM’s Café Club is open for business.

Starters

Beef Carpaccio | £8

Local fillet coated in peppercorns & sea salt with pink horseradish, rocket and toasts

Devilled Prawns | £8

Tiger prawns with our naga relish infused lemon mayo. Served with leaves & toasts

Basque Goats Cheese | £7.50

Chèvre blanc melted on sourdough with an orange, honey and nut glaze. With leaves & balsamic

Toulouse Sausage Hachés | £6.50

Herb, red wine and local pork hachés with a tomato and herb salad and Dijon mustard mayo

Black olive, artichoke and broad bean & pea with griddled focaccia

Mains

Tuna Niçoise | £17

seared, fresh tuna steak, pan fried Charlotte potatoes, squeaky green beans, vine ripe tomatoes, black olives and soft boiled egg. House dressing

Club Caesar Salad | £15

Griddled strips of free range chicken breast, smoked lardons, leaves, Parmesan shavings and our creamy dressing. Add anchovies for £1.50

Wine Poached Salmon Salad | £16

Salmon fillet poached in white wine with baby broad bean and pea, feta, roasted peppers, green beans and leaves. Lemon and herb dressing

 Summer Fritatta | £14

Asparagus, pea, pepper and goats cheese with fried potatoes. Topped with leaves, relish and tamarind dressing

Paris Cafe or Tagliata Steak | £21.50 or £26

Thin cut dry aged sirloin served with garlic butter, triple fried chips and lovely side salad

Italian, thick cut dry aged sirloin. Our Club favourite. Served rare with lemon and herb dressing. Rocket, pine nut and Parmesan salad. Triple fried chips with sea salt

Desserts

 The Club Sundae | £7

Mulled berries, a square of rich chocolate brownie, clotted cream ice cream, salted chocolate caramel sauce, vanilla cream, toasted nuts.

 Le Club Colonel | £7

Lemon sorbet, fresh strawberries, mint and a shot of frozen vodka
