The knight’s roll…..a gourmet sausage roll, using Paul Bowyer’s award winning black pudding our own ground pork, seasoning of sage and English mustard and served with a sticky tomato and onion jam

A sharing platter of potted shrimp, game terrine and quails eggs with locally made breads and our own homemade relishes and jellies

Hathersage sloe gin and apple sorbet to refresh your taste buds ready for the main act

Main course Board*
Centre cut fillet of local Peak District beef with the red and white of a fresh horseradish sauce and roasted balsamic tomato salad. Thick cut triple fried chips.

English trout fillet crusted in a rich, smokey topping of local air dried bacon, capers, dill and sourdough crumb. Herb butter. Roasted new potatoes. Green beans with shallots and chilli

Dessert or Cheese Board
Chocolate heaven with sharing plate of poached pear coated in chocolate salted caramel, dark chocolate pot, hot double baked chocolate and nut brownie. Served with a mound of our favourite Hope Valley clotted cream ice cream.
