Spanish Cine Supper

Monste is joining Simon in the kitchen to make some authentic Spanish Carnaval food.  Fabulous food to accompany an award winning film (the film is actually Argentinian-Spanish ) featuring six stories all about revenge – black comedy at its best.

Tortilla Espanola

Tortilla made with Manchego & Spinach served with a roasted tomato salsa

Mains

Cocido Gallego

A very traditional Spanish stew of slow cooked beef, cured pork, smoked chorizo and pork chop. With a wine and vegetable broth of cabbage, boiled potatoes and  chickpeas. This dish has 17th Century peasant origins but now found on fine dining menus in Gallicia.

Moorish Vegetable Stew

A tomato, pepper and bean stew with Spanish paprika. Accompany slow roasted Mediterranean vegetables with a spicy harissa rub.
