Part of our Middle Eastern weekend with Diala Dajani.  A great three course supper with an additional amuse to start.  Lovely, gentle spices, great music and a lovely laid back vibe.

Hummus topped with spiced lamb and pine nuts

Egyptian broad beans, lemon, garlic with olive oil and fresh tomato and a hint of roasted cumin

 

MAIN

Lemon and Chicken Tagine

An aromatic stew with chicken, potatoes and preserved lemon.

Bahmieh – okra stew

Tomato and okra stew with fresh coriander

Both main dishes served with a vegetable cous cous and a side of carrot, orange, mint and pine nut salad.
