Middle Eastern - Feast

A Middle Eastern Feast night with mezze platters and a choice of main course and pudding.  This is relaxed but decadent.  Diala is in the kitchen making some amazing and authentic food. We’ll light the lanterns and, the fire outside.

 

STARTER

Gourmet Persian meze board…a feast of a sharing board for the table…including;

Marinated chicken wings

Fuhl – Egyptian broad beans, lemon, garlic with olive oil

Mhammara – Armenian red pepper tapenade

Halloumi with figs in syrup

Tabbouleh – herb salad

Herbed feta

Flatbreads

 

MAIN

Lamb & golden plum Koresh

Persian, slow cooked lamb stew with advieh spice (ground rose petals and other spices).

Or

Bahmieh – okra stew

Tomato and okra stew with fresh coriander

Both dishes served with a special Persian rice and a side of carrot, orange, mint and pine nut salad.

DESSERT

Muhallabiyeh

Milk pudding with rose petals
