The Friday supper club prequel to our Food of Love aphrodisiac’s menu is our own Love of Food offering. A relaxed, but rather indulgent selection of the food we love in the kitchen….yes it does have alcohol, cream and spices….but with fresh local ingredients it’s worth that little treat.
Starter – Sharing Platters
Some of our favourite nibbles on a smogasbord of tastes
Go fishy….tuna carpaccio, IPA cured sea bass and devilled prawns
Go meaty….duck rillettes, beef carpaccio and red wine cooked chorizo
Go veggie….black olive tapenade with feta, sweet & spiced rice stuffed peppers and seared asparagus with dill and lemon
Main Course – Sauce heaven
Armorican seafood – loch trout fillet, monk fish in Parma ham and tiger prawns with an indulgent Northern French sauce of cray fish tails, brandy, peppercorns and cream
Entrecôte sauce dry aged steak – a large Paris café cut of 28 day sirloin with an intense sauce using 14 ingredients including tarragon, creme fraiche, Armagnac and beef marrow stock.
Marsala mushroom Wellington – field mushrooms in our special smoked garlic, lemon and thyme marinade with chèvre blank goats cheese, spinach and white truffle oil with our favourite Marsala wine and wild mushroom sauce.
