Puccia are fired oven cooked flatbreads similar to a pizza base. They are served hot, folded over and wrapped in the style of a Greek gyros. Then filled with lovely ingredients, sauces and fresh herbs. Great to eat clasped in two hands, but we’ll provide you with cutlery if you want to be a little more gentile!
They are served in the Salento area in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce….and we just love Lecce….well Lucy loves hanging out with the old men of the town!
For our StrEAT menu we have developed 3 of our favourite fillings and a few lovely anti-pasti and salad side dishes to accompany your Puccia
