Our Egyptian Ciné Supper features an Israeli film about an Egyptian band that ends up in the wrong town. Timeout describes it as ‘ a joyous, big-hearted comedy’ and we’ll be serving it with some fantastic Egyptian food and drink.
This is a multi-award winning film about an Egyptian brass band which travels to Israel to perform but finds they have taken a wrong turn. If you haven’t been to one of our Ciné Suppers this will be a great introduction. We start with drinks upstairs in the bar/lounge (or outside if it’s a nice evening). You sit at a large table with your fellow Ciné Supper guests to enjoy a starter and a main dish and then we head upstairs to the sofas and bean bags in the mini ciné for the first half of the film and always have a pudding interval. These are lovely sociable evenings which you can come to as a couple or group or you can come on your own and meet new people. This is what the Hathersage Social Club is all about.
