For the Love of Veg - Diwali Thali

This is one of our Love of Veg Special Events – Our lovely friends Priya and Geetha are in the kitchen for this fusion Dawali with local ingredients combining with South Indian flavourings to make a thali of different dishes.  We’re lighting the firebowls, lanterns and candles to make this a very special festival of light.

Mini Uthapams with onion chutney, coconut chutney and sambar

Flavoured Indian blinis with an assortment of chutneys and sambar (a lentil stew)

Lemon Rice Sevvai with Pumpkin Kootu

Lemon infused rice sticks served with an aromatic, creamy pumpkin sauce

Rasam Medhu Vada

Savoury lentil doughnuts with a tomato and pepper soup

Course 4

Mor Kuzhambu Rice with Beans Paruppu Usili

Rice with a rich coconut sauce with courgettes and aubergine served with a bean and lentil roast
