C&W Supper Club

No theme, just some of favourite staters, main courses and puddings from the last few months of events bought together in a slightly decadent Friday night menu.  Supper never tasted this good.

Nibble to Begin

 Involtini

Griddled aubergine with our sun blushed tomato pesto, fresh mozzarella, basil leaves and either spinach or parma ham

 

Starters 

Sticky Duck Salad

Confit of duck with a mooli, carrot & toasted sesame salad with sticky tamarind and honey sauce

Duo of Seafood

Carpaccio of Tuna & Salmon

served with dill mayo and leaf salad

Strawberry and toasted goats cheese

Fresh strawberry slices, toasted chevre blanc, cracked peppercorns, lambs lettuce & red chard

 Steak Florentine

Strips of 28 day, dry-aged local sirloin with Salsa Verde on a bed of roasted Mediterranean vegetables & pan-fried potatoes

Basque Cod

Cod, pan fried and then baked in parchment in a rosé port and tomato and Espelette pepper sauce. Served with side order of green beans and shallot butter & pan-fried potatoes

or

Persian Salad

Roasted figs, feta with Persian spiced rub, peppers, pomegranate seeds, served with herbed flatbreads

Roast peaches, Amaretto and Gelato and Italian Cheese
