C&W Supper - Al Fresco

We’re making the most of the summer and the club’s fantastic garden.  We’ll light the firebowls and candles and save you an outdoor (and indoor) table.  Start with drinks and nibbles and perhaps even dine al fresco or head indoors if it gets nippy.  A fabulous Summer menu with starter and main course meat, fish and vegetable dishes to choose from.

Amuse 

The summer tartlet

Mini tart with our all butter pastry filled with caramelised onion, goats cheese, strawberry and crushed peppercorns

Starters

Tuna carpaccio 

Sashimi grade tuna with an Espelette pepper rub served with roast beetroot and orange salad and a dill, lemon mayonnaise 

Lamb kofta

Gently spiced local lamb with smoked salt and herb flatbreads, sticky tomato jam and leaves

Aleppo halloumi

Served with an almond, Agen prune and coriander rice and honey, mustard dressing

Palate cleanser 

Summer sorbet Bellini  

Tangy raspberry sorbet, rosé port soaked fruit and a splash of our favourite bubbly

Mains from the BBQ or Griddle

The Club Summer Grill

Seared slices of 28-day dry aged sirloin and marinated fillet of free range pork, layered on top of our kartofel spiced mini roast potatoes with spinach and peppers. Drizzled with fresh herb and lemon salsa verde

Stella’s Fish Platter 

Griddled chunky cod fillet with oregano leaves, alongside wild sea trout in a spicy rub served on top of slow roasted lemon, garlic and olive oil potato wedges. Served with mint yoghurt and a feta and tomato salad

Persian Spice Board

BBQ’d aubergine with a three bean ragù topping, sticky rice stuffed peppers and a rather special salad with roasted figs, pistachio crusted feta, pomegranate and tamarind dressing
