C&W Supper (FULLY BOOKED)

A gourmet Club Supper suitable for one and all.  We’ll be lighting the fire in the garden.  Gathering you all for drinks at 7.15 to 7.45 and then having a wonderful supper with choices suitable for meat eaters, pescatarians and vegetarians alike.

Amuse

Summer Tartlet

Butter and Parmesan pastry, caramelised onion, goats cheese, strawberries, crushed peppercorns and balsamic reduction

Starters

Summer Salad

Seared asparagus, roasted red pepper, feta, flakes of Gaillac white wine poached loch salmon, leaves and house dressing

Or

 Aveyron salad

Smoked lardons, Armagnac flamed walnuts, crumbled Roquefort, Gaillac red wine poached pear, leaves & house dressing

or

Confit of duck

Slow cooked duck with roasted red pepper and toasted seeds, leaves and a tamarind dressing

Mains

Pavé de Boeuf

The kitchen’s favourite. Thick slices of centre cut local fillet with a 3 peppercorn coating. Jansson’s temptation dauphinois, Mediterranean roast vegetables and smoked garlic butter

Or

Seafood Parcel

Cod, salmon and tiger prawns in rose port and tomato sauce. Baked in parchment with spinach leaves. Triple fried chips

Or

Vegetable Stack

Rounds of roasted butternut squash, courgette, aubergine and red pepper topped with goats cheese and served with a sweet pepper sauce and basil oil. Triple fried chips.

Desserts

Casablanca Meringue

Chewy meringue with pears poached in cardamom & saffron and honeyed mascarpone

Mini waffle with dark chocolate salted caramel sauce, square of speciality brownie and Cointreau choc pot
