C&W Feast- Al Fresco

A decadent way to kick off your Summer celebrations.  Aperitifs in the garden, the firebowls and candles lit, an outside and indoor table saved.  Start al fresco and just head indoors if it gets nippy.  A fabulous Summer menu with a choice of starters, main courses and chocolate or fruit and cheese to finish.  A fabulous excuse to dig out the summer frock..boys!

 

Amuse

The summer tartlet

Mini tart with our all butter pastry filled with caramelised onion, goats cheese, strawberry and crushed peppercorns

Starters

Es cojonudo

Rounds of toasted sourdough,  sun blush pesto, Leon chorizo, fried quails eggs and basil leaves

OR

Ceviche

Lime and chill cured sea bass and salmon with coconut milk and coriander. Served with herb flatbreads for scooping

OR

Basque Goats cheese

Toasts, melted chèvre blanc, honey and orange glaze. Leaf salad.

Palate cleanser

Summer sorbet Bellini

Tangy raspberry sorbet, rosé port soaked fruit and a splash of our favourite bubbly

Mains from the BBQ or Griddle

The Club Summer Grill

Chateaubriand slices with chimichurri, pork escalope marinated in smoked garlic, oregano and pink peppercorns and our local lamb merguez hachés. Served with garlic and rosemary potatoes and summer salad

Fish Platter

Hot spiced salmon fillet, pan fried king prawns with smoked garlic butter and crab with lemon and dill mayo. Served with a bowl of naughty triple fried chips

OR

Persian Spice Board

BBQ’d aubergine with a three bean ragù topping, sticky rice stuffed peppers and a rather special salad with roasted figs, pistachio crusted feta, pomegranate and tamarind dressing

Desserts

Frutta e Formaggio

Part cheeseboard (fresh Pecorino and creamy Gorgonzola) part sweet (balsamic roasted apricot and amoretti icecream)

Melvin’s passion fruit and mango tart

A richer, fruitier version of Tart au Citron served with honey mascapone

intense dark chocolate pot with a hint of Cointreau served with honey, orange and lavender shortbread fingers
