C&W Autumn Supper

Seasonal warming three course supper with amuse to have with an Autumnal aperitif.  Come and cuddle up at the club with some hearty and delicious menu choices guaranteed to bring cheer.

 

AMUSE

Spiced & Smoked Haddock and Pea Tart

STARTERS

Basque Terrine

Layers of aubergine, courgette, peppers, sweet potato and spinach infused with Espelette Pepper with with a rosé port & tomato sauce

or 

Duck Rillettes

A coarse pate made from slow cooked duck served with sourdough herb toast and apple, onion and sloe gin confit

or

Winter Pear & Goats Cheese Salad (v)

Pear poached in mulled red wine with goat’s cheese, Armagnac flamed walnuts, salad leaves and sticky balsamic dressing

MAINS

The Club Forestier

Free range on the bone chicken breast, cuts from a whole side of smoked ham, wild mushrooms and a creamy sauce with cognac

or

Three Bean Cassoulet

Three Bean vegetable Cassoulet with smoked mozzarella croutons 

Served with basmati and wild rice with toasted almonds and coriander

Or

Fruits de Mer en Croûte

All butter puff pastry encasing Black Pearl scallops, tiger prawns, sea trout and a rich Armagnac and cream sauce

DESSERTS

Lucy’s Bavarian chocolate Pie

Salted, malted, biscuit bottom, layer of chocolate ganache and layer of cointreau cream with dark and white chocolate shavings
