Club Winter Social

Our Club Social evenings are al la carte with a choice of Club Classics plus from Winter Warmer Specials.  A great night for those who just like to book a table and come for an early or later dinner with no need to pre-order.  Come for a nibble or come for a feast.  Come for a romantic date night or gather with friends.  How marvellous.

Starters

Arancini | £7

Smoked mozzarella, red pepper and pea risotto balls. Peas shoots. Roasted pepper sauce

Club Minestrone with Pancetta | £7

Our take on this classic warming Italian soup with pancetta. Smoked garlic and herb bruschetta

Smoked Garlic Prawns | £7.50

King prawns Flamed in brandy and served with our smoked garlic butter. Leaves and focaccia

Basque Goats Cheese | £7

Melted on sourdough rounds with an orange, honey and nut glaze served with leaves & balsamic

Mains

Winter Steak Specials

Pavé de Beouf | £24.50

Rare slices of 3 peppercorn rub steak from a slab of local fillet. Served with pan fried potatoes, autumn roasted vegetables with honey and fresh thyme. Red wine sauce

Tagliata |£27

A carving board serving of thick cut slices of 28 day dry aged sirloin with chimichurri salsa,  smoked paprika wedges, rocket, Parmesan and sticky balsamic and tamarind dressing

Sweet Potato & Aubergine Melt | £14.50

Aleppo spiced and roasted sweet potato and griddled aubergine filled with smoked mozzarella and coated in a sourdough crumb. Roasted pepper sauce with chimichurri. Side of triple fried chips

Seafood Parcel | £18

Chunky cod and prawns baked in parchment with a rose port and tomato sauce and serves with a side of paprika and parmesan chips

Merguez with Sticky Rice |  £16

Our own local lamb and harissa sausages. Sweet and sticky rice with medjool dates, courgette and pomegranate. Mint yoghurt dressing (* can be made with griddled halloumi)

Desserts and cheese

Melvin’s Naughty Winter Brownie |  £7

Double baked brownie with Baileys and white chocolate served with clotted cream ice cream or whipped vanilla cream

Persian Meringue |  £7

Large, sticky meringue with a cardamom, saffron and white wine poached pear and honey cream with flaked almonds and rose petals

Strudel Waffle | £6.50

Freshly made Liege waffle with plums & apple with flamed raisins, cinnamon, calvados and orange syrup and ice cream

Mini Cheese Board | £9

A slate with 3 taster size nibbles of our house cheeses (choose from DOP Roquefort, Smoked Mozzarella, Cave Aged Cheddar or DOP Manchego) with crackers and relish
