Autumn Supper

A fabulous Autumn four course supper.  We’re lighting the fire again and hoping for some clear Autumn skies.

 

Amuse

Kedgeree or caramelised onion & roasted pepper mini tarts

Starters

Merguez Sausage Haché

Served with a roasted tomato salsa salad, mint yoghurt and herb flatbreads

Or

Salt Cod & Lemon Croquettes

Served with herb salad and a dill mayo

Or

Warm Persian Salad

 Salad with Aleppo sliced halloumi, medjool dates, orange fillets, griddled courgettes and a pomegranate molasses dressing

Mains

Pavé de Beouf

Rare slices of 3 peppercorn rub steak from a slab of local fillet. Our smoked garlic butter, pan fried potatoes with shallots and spinach. Side of autumn roasted vegetables with honey and fresh thyme

Or

Sweet Potato & Aubergine Melt

Aleppo spiced and roasted sweet potato and griddled aubergine filled with smoked mozzarella and coated in a sourdough crumb. Roasted pepper sauce with chimmichurri. Side of triple fried chips

Or

Galician Seafood Parcel

Chunky cod, pan fried chorizo and a rich tomato, wine, caper and olive sauce. baked in parchment with peppers and spinach. Served with smoked paprika and Parmesan coated fries.

Desserts

The Strudel Waffle 

Our freshly made Liege waffle with plums & apple with flamed raisins, cinnamon ( and a nip of calvados) and ice cream

Baileys and White Chocolate Brownie

Double baked brownie with Baileys and white chocolate served with clotted cream ice cream or whipped vanilla cream

Persian Meringue 

Cardamom, saffron and white wine poached pear and honey cream. Flaked almonds and rose petals

Mini Cheeseboard 

A slate with 3 taster size nibbles of our house cheeses with crackers and relish
