Mardis Gras Feast - Fully Booked

Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) is the celebration or feasts before lent begins.  With it’s origins in France and the French colonies (particularly New Orleans).  Tonight will be a feast of New Orleans and French dishes and definitely a chance to dress up for the celebration. Masks actively encouraged. A five course gourmet meal with vegetarian options available on request.

Gumbo is a central feature of Mardi Gras celebrations. On Mardi Gras, local men wander from house to house and beg for gumbo ingredients in an event known as courir de Mardi Gras.Members of the local community then gather in a central location, cook, eat and then dance until midnight
