‘Let there be Meat’ – Calling all steak lovers and lovers of steak lovers – We love getting saucy at the club and this steak supper is a four course affair with a focus on the finest steak paired with the best accompanying sauce. Other options available for those accompanying steak lovers but not feeling carnivorous.

Amuse
Kedgeree tartlet
A little gentle warming spice and smoked haddock in a butter and Parmesan pastry, to kick the evening off
Starter
Winter salad
Red wine poached pear with cloves and cinnamon, roasted sweet potato with lardons, Roquefort cheese, leaves and herbs and our sticky tamarind dressing
The Main event
choose from our two favourite Steaks for this time of year
Medallions of beef fillet, lean and ridiculously tender
Served with an intense Gaillac red wine sauce
Or
Pavé de boeuf, a 28 day dry aged cut from the side of sirloin
Served with a rich and creamy brandy and peppercorn sauce
Both dishes are served with Winter roast vegetables with honey and thyme, ‘Jansson’s temptation’ potatoes and squeaky French beans with lemon salt flakes
Dessert or Cheese
Medjool date and black treacle pudding
Served warm with our vanilla cream custard
