We love innovation that does good. That has purpose and real impact. It’s just an added bonus that we’ve been able to work with some highly talented and really wonderful people on these projects!
Ready to Relate is one such project. Dr Lisa Milne and Jane Dickens are the clinicians at Bradford NHS Care Trust who are behind this national scheme. They believe that every baby is born ready to relate and their project brings this idea to life by supporting parents to understand their baby, feel more confident, and build strong early connections.

They wanted to develop a digital Toolkit of resources that would support clinicians and parents to learn tips and techniques for forming that all important bond between mum, dad and baby. Working with our team of brilliantly talented web developers, designers and video producers, you can view the Toolkit here, but scanning the QR code below on your phone (or just click on the image if you’re using a laptop or PC)
Another related project that connected Ready to Relate with the Institute of Health Visiting, was an initiative to produce a mobile web app called Little sparks, big starts.
This was a co-produced project that involved parents giving detailed feedback on the kind of site and content that they would find helpful. It was a great project to work on and with the confident and assured guidance from Hilda and Grace at the iHV. I think they appreciated our approach too….
“We both thoroughly enjoyed working with you and were so grateful for your patience, efficiency and responsiveness during the project. We have recommended you and your team for all sorts of other bits of work that are in the pipeline so you may yet be working with iHV!”

The hero picture for this post is of our lovely grandchild, Seb tucking into some artichoke leaves. Young kids making a connection with food is another example of parental bonding.
